Tickets for BlizzCon XI go on sale next Month
In no surprise to anyone, BlizzCon XI will be taking place on November 3rd and 4th this year at the Anaheim Convention Centre in California. Tickets to the 11th official event will go on sale in two batches:
- Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. PDT
- Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. PDT
Ticket sales are being sold by third party ticket site Universe and priced at $199 each (plus applicable taxes and fees). The BlizzCon Ticket webpage and Badge Information page will provide all the additional details needed to correctly expedite your purchases.

Official 7.2 Preview Blog Posted
In anticipation of the release of 7.2 (see below) Blizzard have posted their official Preview of 7.2 on their own website. It is clear that the Tomb of Sargeras raid will not be released for some time yet (presumably only when players have completed the various World Questing components that allow access to the Tomb itself) but there will be plenty for players to do when the patch is finally deployed. PvP Players have also been told to prepare for the end of the current Season, presumably in anticipation of this upcoming content.
7.2 marked as ‘Release Candidate’; Download Available via Launcher
Data for 7.2 became available for download last week before the Dev Q&A (see below) which lead several commentators to suggest a date for the patch was imminent, but as yet we still do not have confirmation of when 7.2 can be expected.
“For Azeroth” Primal Flamesaber Promotion Extended to March 26th
If you have not yet had the opportunity to ‘grind’ for your Primal Flamesaber in Heroes of the Storm fear not: Blizzard have extended the deadline for claiming the mount until March 26th.

Thursday seems quite a long way away now, but if you missed the Live Chat with Lead Game Designer Mat Goss, it is available to view at your leisure on Twitch.
